My First LA Trip

Hi!! I am back from my first LA trip with mommy, daddy, godmother, and her bf. To be frank, it was a tiring trip for Miku.

The humans decided to have a road trip to LA and wanted to make it for the late night dinner at Hae Jang Chon, which close at 2am. According to all four humans, Hae Jang Chon is actually a very yummy Korean BBQ place and the best out of all the KBBQ restaurants they have tried. The average time to our destination from San Francisco was 6 hrs and 21 min. BUT...... there was traffic on I5 due to road construction!!!!!! So our drive was around 8 hrs and, of course, we did not make it for the Korean BBQ.

Instead, they went to J&J Cafe. The cafe was packed even at 3 am in the morning (close time at 4am) and it reminded mommy of the restaurants in Hong Kong. Food was decent, but cost a bit more than the local ABC restaurants.

Since me and my companions only have Wednesday as our full day for exploring, we decided to go all out!! We went to New Capital Seafood Restaurant for dim sum after woke up. While the humans are stuffing themselves with dim sum and all the mouthwatering food, I was in the car alone with my hot dog toy... >v< 

I forgive them because mommy and daddy came to get me right after they ate. 

Then, they went to Phoenix!! It seems that my companions love the drinks in Phoenix because they went to Phoenix more than 3 times the during their LA trip in May 2012.

No for Miku!! After the humans got their drinks, we headed to Downtown LA for Santee Alley!

Excited for LA Trip

Guess what?? I think you can guess by the title. Yes! I am going to Los Angeles for his very first time. Mommy and daddy have been busy with their work and papers, so a trip to LA would definitely help them relax. Actually, we are going with my godmother and godfather! WE ARE DRIVING!!!!!!! (They are, not Miku >o<)

You know... It's good to be a dog because I don't need to pack! Mommy and daddy have just finished packing their stuff for the trip and will help me pack soon. Miku needs to remind them to bring my treats and my toys.

What Have I've Been Up to??

Hi! Miss me?? Hahhahaa!!! I haven't blog since my previous post because there was so much stuff to do... such as eating, sleeping, and playing!!

October has been a busy busy month. So why so busy?? I went to Vegas with my mommy d(=^^=)b!
I will be uploading pictures later!! Mommy's my photographer and she switch her phone recently, so the pictures are in the old phone... Buuhuuu~~

The internet at home was down for 3 weeks and was fixed a few days ago. During the days when we didn't have internet, mommy and daddy had to go to mommy's school for homework and projects. It's open 24 hrs! Because the computer lab in the school library did not allow dogs... I had to stay in the car when they bring me with them.  But most of the time, I stay home while they go do their homework. There was a few days when it rained really hard too!!! Well, the house have internet now so we're all happy^^

Quick Jog At Lake Merced

Hey everyone!! Are you a fan of walking, running, jogging or biking? Well, I cannot really bike... but I love jogging with my mommy and daddy. (By jogging... I mean Daddy and Mommy walking while I walk faster to keep up with them) We decided to go to Lake Merced for a walk.

Lake Merced is around the Sunset area of San Francisco, which is also very near San Francisco State University. The total distance around the lake is around 4.5 miles!!!! That's a lot for my tiny paws. There is a little bridge in the lake to cut across if some of you want to do 3.5 miles instead. The best part is that there is free parking in all 4 parking lots of the lake!!

Of course we did not walk the whole 4.5 miles nor the 3.5 miles. Ahahaha! We parked and then we walk probably around less than 1 miles. Daddy and mommy was not prepared for long walks or jogging because they were in their flip-flops. I have no comment because I was getting tired after walking a few blocks. It was a bit foggy and cold too. So make sure to wear a bit more if you are not going to sweat^^

Okay!! Since the 3 of us need to exercise more, our goal for next time will be 2 miles!!!!!!!!! 

The Shih Tzu Meet

Hi everyone!!! I wanted to share the experience of my very first "Shih Tzu Meet" that I've attended a while ago!!!! The park that the meet was held was called Alta Plaza Park which is located in Pacific Heights in San Francisco. Also my first time going to Alta Plaza Park. Nice view and friendly humans.

So why did I go to "Shih Tzu Meet" when I am a Pomeranian?  That is because my lovely god-brother is a Shih Tzu^^ Picture of Brownie below~~

God-mother emailed the host to ask if they allowed me to join the meet since I am a Pom-Pom and the host said she is glad to have me! They called me the "Honorary Shih Tzu". Hahhahaha

Afternoon in SFSU

Miku have been going to school with mommy very often. But since it's summer vacation now, mommy didn't have any class that requires attendance in class. A few days ago, my mommy and daddy took me to San Francisco State University (SFSU) because mommy needs to pay tuition.

I love strolling down the campus (or anywhere in general) because Miku like the smell of fresh air^^ The building that is on my left is the Humanities Building. We are heading towards the Student Service Building. 

 After mommy turned in her tuition, we decided to hang around the grass in front of the Humanities Building.

After a while, we have to get going. I did not want to leave yet, so I started to roll around the grass to show that I am protesting and wanted to stay longer.

Um... daddy and mommy did not fall for that trick. Daddy picked me up and took me out of the lovely grass.  Then we headed back to the car. I should start thinking of other ideas.

A Day Out in the Sun

So happy that Daddy and Mommy dun have work today, so today is family day!! Plus, it is a very very nice sunny day.

According to yelp, Joy Sushi in San Mateo was rated 4 stars with close to 900 reviews. Mommy and Daddy decided to give it a try.

Yup! That is the so called "Labada Roll", the "Joy King Roll", and the "Joy Scallop Roll". *Sigh* The whole time that Mommy and Daddy is enjoying their brunch, Miku was in the car enjoying my alone time. We met up with Brownie and his humans at Joy Sushi. Brownie was also enjoying his alone time while his humans were eating. Customer service and food wise in Joy Sushi was not what was expected after seeing the reviews on Yelp. Won't be stopping to eat at Joy Sushi anymore.

Shortly, Miku was picked up to go TPUMPS with the humans and Brownie.

As you can see, it was indeed a very nice sunny day. And I LOVE it!! Even though I was sweating in my fur. Daddy got me a small cup with water from TPUMPS because we all need to be hydrated 24/7.

Now! Time for Miku's play time. Off to dog park we go^^

This was the first time we have been to the Foster City Dog Park. Since it was not a weekend today, there was not much dogs in the park. If it wasn't so far from home (about 30 min), Miku would love to come everyday. The park was clean, big, and nice. Big dogs and small dogs area was separated by fences. On top of that!! Be ready...
